Noise Complaints:

Any of us have the perfect legal right to complain to Airport Manager Rhonda Walker about any observed noise, safety, or other issues.  She even has an official complaint form:

Click here to download the official New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport Noise Complaint Form.  Print it, complete it, and either phone, fax, or deliver it to the Airport Manager at 124 Industrial Park Avenue.  Please try to get the aircraft "N" number if possible.

Or click here to send your complaint by email.  One click will get your email to Airport Manager Rhonda Walker, Public Works Director Khalid Resheidat (Ms. Walker's boss), City Manager John Hagood (Mr. Resheidat's boss), the entire City Commission (Mr. Hagood's boss), Airport Advisory Board Chairman Robert Perry, and District 3 Volusia Council Chairman Jack Hayman. A copy of your email will also be returned to this website so that we may regularly compare actual complaints to the Airport Manager's list.

It is unfortunate that the current Airport Management doesn't even follow many of the noise impact ideas suggested by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).  Click here to see what even the AOPA suggests.

If the flight is an Embry Riddle aircraft (3 blue stripes on each wing), you may also complain to the Embry Riddle Chief Pilot's office at (800) 503-6279, extension 6929.  Ask for Ivan Grau or Ken Byrnes:

If the flight is a Phoenix East Aviation aircraft, you may complain to (800) 868-4359, extension 2:

If the flight is an Epic Aviation aircraft, you may complain to (386) 409-5583:
