Destruction of Trees:

Following is from the Airport Master Plan sheet 5 of 9 showing the new runway's approach from the west directly over South Street.  It shows clusters of trees up to 87.9 feet tall identified as tree clusters A through L that would need to be killed in order for the large aircraft to pass directly over Isleboro residences.

It also shows that the large aircraft will have a much lower approach slope than at present, therefore bringing noise much closer to existing residences.
